“ Mi here to say something about the Humus. There are differences in the taste of Humus. It has namely, to do with sourness degree, amount of Tahina added to the chickpeas mesh. All are freshly. But as a rule of thumb, Humus is not an evening dish. The Lebanese restaurant in Abu Gosh serves good Humus. You have to taste several Humus joints to decide which is your preferred taste. It is forbidden by Sharia law to switch tastes. ”
“ We love to come to this place during weekdays. This time we came on a Saturday and as always - weekend is packed with customers. The fact the place is packed does NOT mean the service is less than great. It is as attentive as at any other day. The food is always a strong point in any restorant, and here is is the same great quality for as many years that I visit the place. Highly recommended to anyone hungry that wishes to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. I didn't shoot the main courses because I was hungry and the were looking SO good! ”
“ Stopped for hummus lunch last Saturday. The place was overcrowded (even finding parking may be challenging). It took some time until the waiters noticed us at the table, although we asked for someone’s attention. The hummus and the salads aren’t so great. So in the overall it was pretty medium experience. ”

If you just landed and you’re hungry and you’re going to Jerusalem hold out for this place! It is worth the extra 30 minutes. Our driver took us here before we headed out to Jericho and the place is comfortable with lots of open air covered seating. Had the hummus salad with falafel and the mixed grill. Very tasty. They know how to grill chicken, lamb chops and minced lamb/beef but they are best known for the hummus salad — very fresh. Note the French fries are greasy but I wouldn’t come for the fries anyway. ”

“ If you want really good food you are in the right place. The Levanonit (The Lebanese) is a family friendly restaurant with great hummus, falafel and salads. I am vegetarian but my friends say the meat is also good. I can recommend the hummus with mushrooms, the labane with nana and za'atar and the grape leaf filled with rice. The staff was nice and the restrooms were clean. ”
